Artillery Bar
Biography & Highlights
Bull Street doesn't mess around once the sun goes down, and Artillery Bar sits right there in the thick of it all. You won't miss the cast-iron façade, but you might miss the door if you're not paying attention to the low hum spilling out onto the sidewalk. It's not your average sticky-floor dive with cheap cans rolling across the boards. This place is sleek, high-ceilinged, and feels more like an old Savannah armory that got a very expensive makeover.
You'll walk past the host station and immediately notice the pressed tin ceiling and marble bar catching the low light. The crowd dresses up a bit, so you'll feel slightly underdressed in your everyday sneakers, but nobody's giving you weird looks. Bartenders move fast, shaking up drinks that cost a pretty penny, but they don't skimp on the pours. The room stays packed with tourists and locals trading stories over massive ice cubes and heavy glassware.
Space gets tight near the back when the weekend crowd rolls in. You'll find yourself dodging elbows while trying to flag down a refill. It's loud, warm, and smells like expensive bourbon mixed with history.
